Why we don't publish fixed prices online
A meaningful solar and battery quote depends on your home. The size and orientation of your roof, how much shading it gets, the capacity of battery that suits your usage, the condition of your electrical consumer unit, and whether scaffolding is required all affect the work involved. Publishing a single price would be misleading, so we don't do it. Instead, we survey your property at no obligation and provide a written quote that reflects your actual home.
This approach keeps the quote accurate. It also means there are no surprises later: the price you are quoted is the price for the system recommended for your property, based on what we see on the day of the survey.
What's included in a quote
- Solar PV panels sized to your roof
- Battery storage matched to your usage
- Inverter, generation meter and wiring
- Scaffolding and access where required
- MCS-certified installation and commissioning
What affects the cost
- Roof size, orientation and pitch
- Shading from trees, chimneys and nearby buildings
- Number of panels and battery capacity
- Electrical setup and consumer unit location
- Access, scaffolding and roof type
Spreading the cost with a loan
If you would prefer not to pay the full balance upfront, you can spread the cost. Loans available, subject to status. We do not quote interest rates, loan amounts or monthly figures online, because those depend on the system quoted and your individual circumstances. A representative example is provided with any quote, so you can see exactly how monthly payments would work before you decide.
The representative example sets out the key information you need: the system being quoted, how the monthly payments would be structured, and the total amount payable. You can compare it against paying the balance in full and choose the option that suits you. There is no obligation to take up finance — it is simply one of the ways you can pay.
Finance is subject to status, which means eligibility is assessed on your individual circumstances. We will explain the process clearly as part of your quote.
What you own
You are arranging a paid installation of a solar PV and battery system for your home. When the installation is completed and the balance is settled in line with your agreement, you own the panels, the battery and all the associated equipment fitted to your property. It is your system, on your roof, generating and storing electricity for your home.
0% VAT on solar & batteries
